More than that, listeners of all shapes, sizes, colours, and genders can relate to some part of her music and the message that she is putting out into the world which is - love yourself completely and wholeheartedly and forget the haters.
While most fans feel incredibly empowered by Lizzo's music and her message, it seems like the singer, who has been on the receiving end of continuous hate comments and online abuse, is struggling to take her own words to heart.

The conversation about our treatment of celebrities is never-ending. In the one corner, we have the "they know what they signed up for" debaters and in the other corner are the "they are still only human beings" fighters.
No matter how you feel about the Hollywood elite, one thing we should all agree on is that there is no justification for hatred and abuse in any way, shape, or form.

Lizzo recently released her chart-topping hit, 'Rumours' featuring rapper Cardi B, and she should be celebrating.
Instead, she decided to go live on Instagram and show how she was really feeling.
She mentions that she usually is more emotional when she has been working hard and her tolerance for negativity does decline, but that still does not give anyone the right to talk to her and treat her the way they are.

She goes on to explain that she has no issue with people not liking her music but what is getting to her is the personal attacks aimed at her appearance, her weight, and calling her names.
On the days when I should feel the happiest, it just — I feel so down. Sometimes I feel like the world just don’t love me back. It’s like it doesn’t matter how much positive energy you put into the world, you’re still gonna have people who have something mean to say about you. People saying s**t about me that just doesn’t even make sense. It’s fat-phobic, it’s racist, and it’s hurtful. What I won’t accept is y’all doing this to Black women over and over and over again, especially us big Black girls. When we don’t fit into the box that you want to put us in, you just unleash hatred onto us. It’s not cool. I’m doing this s**t for the big Black women in the future who just want to live their lives without being scrutinized or put into boxes.- Lizzo
