WATCH: Durban female police officers join 'Jerusalema' dance challenge
Updated | By Stacey and JSbu
The 'Jerusalema' dance challenge has swept the world and it seems the ladies in blue did not want to be left out of the popular dance craze, inspired by the hit song by Master KG.
On the 10th of August, a day after South Africa celebrated Women's Day, twelve Durban Metro Police Officers made headline news. The twelve ladies were promoted to senior posts.
During this past weekend, the ladies conducted an 'all ladies' roadblock alongside the popular South Beach. When the ladies had completed their road block, they took to the beach to take part in on the global trend and danced to Master KG's renowned track, Jerusalema.

Even though the video was met with some apprehension from a view social media viewers, most of the commentary was very positive for the ladies.
I'm conflicted here 😅this is a very cool video but I also wanna hate Metro for writing so many parking tickets recently in Durban🥵especially those with backpacks syafa 🤣🤣
