A fraud or a smart marketing tactic?
We all like things for free but at what cost?
The Kardashians are known for their clever and unique marketing schemes, as well as several scandals, but this one had us shook.

Every now and then millions of followers drop their jaw when they see the Kardashian sisters doing giveaways worth a quarter of a million and more.
These giveaways are generally hosted on their social platforms and include the most luxurious brands, travel opportunities, and experiences that you can imagine.
However, there are a few not-so-normal things about it that raise our eyebrows…
Often the way you need to enter the competition is highly complex and includes so many exclusion criteria.
It is quite out of the blue that many believe it to be uncharacteristic of the Kardashians to run a giveaway this way.
Many users have to “look twice” as they truly believe that the sisters are hacked when things like this are posted.
A similarity between all the strange posts are that they are linked to a company called 'Curated Businesses' and usually Scott Disick, too.
Kim K is the most recent Kardashian to collaborate with Scott on this promo.
She is pictured below posing outside a luxurious car with some items from the world's most expensive brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, and Balenciaga.

The latest post read: “Who wants to win a $100,000 USD pre loaded credit card + 2 first class flights & 5 night luxury hotel stay in a destination of your choice!”
Another read: “Imagine shopping in Paris? LA? London? Tokyo? Dubai? NYC?… YOU choose where you want to fly this time #Ad.”
Several of these have been occurring over the past few weeks. The details to enter were posted on Scott Disick's Instagram, thus driving traffic to his social platforms.

Many users have shared their opinion:
- "It might not be a scam but it is tacky. This is 2009 Kim behavior,” one user wrote. Another agreed: “Why do this? So damaging to the brand - surely they have enough money.”
- "I have second hand embarrassment."
- "This doesn't seem like the type of thing for billionaires to do."
Fans are in awe at this weird marketing scheme where they have to read the fine print on multiple Instagrams, follow over 75 different accounts, and then go onto a weird website to find out the winner.
Many fans are still left wondering who these winners are and why aren't they flexing on their social platforms about winning?
Something is a bit fishy...
