Nothing says nostalgia like the idea of playing the iconic snake game on a big, brick mobile phone.

Doesn't that just instantly transport you back to the early noughties?

One of Nokia's most iconic phones is making a comeback!

Way back in 2001 Nokia launched their 6310 model, affectionately known as the 'Brick', and although it was discontinued in 2005, they have decided to revive the model for its 20th anniversary.

As mentioned, they did adapt the phone's design to make it more modern so the screen is now 7.1cm instead of 4.5cm, and is 320x240 pixels instead of the original's 120x160 pixels.

It will also only cost you R1,215, which is obviously much cheaper than the latest smartphone and comes in three colours - black, yellow, and green.

Would we give up our 2021 smartphones for a trip down memory lane? Probably not.

But this is still a very welcome flashback from the past.
