There are various types of car passengers, but we have narrowed it down to four main roles:
- Professional passenger
Stacey assumes this role when she's in a vehicle. The pro passenger is solely responsible for playing epic tunes, navigating the journey, looking out for hazards, and, from time to time, offering the driver refreshments. This passenger calls shotgun and sits in the front seat.
- Backseat driver
This is a person who can drive but simply cannot bring themselves to reserve their concerns. They are a wannabe pro passenger but just didn't make the cut. Luckily, if anything were to happen, this driver would gladly assume the role of the driver.
- Sleeping beauty
This passenger isn't in it for the vibes. They could be sitting right in the car but they might as well be 100km away due to the lack of interaction. If they're not listening to music through their headphones, watching Netflix on their phone or reading a book, they are fast asleep.
- The driver
A whole legend behind the wheel. The captain of the ship who ensures the safety of all passengers. The driver is in their own world, trying to keep the mind active and get to the destination as perfectly as possible. Although they face much criticism, they are resilient.
Stacey and J Sbu have been on many road trips in their time on the show.
Stacey classifies herself as a professional passenger, whereas J Sbu is a driver.
