Nestlé recalls KitKat products due to potential glass concerns
Updated | By Stacey & J Sbu
The company has issued a statement to customers after potential shards of glass could be found in the popular chocolate.
Nestlé South Africa says that they are initiating a voluntary recall of certain KitKat milk chocolate products. This is a precautionary measure after suspicions that they may contain shards of glass.
“To date, we have not received any complaints or reported injuries. We are taking this action out of an abundance of caution having discovered the presence of small pieces of glass during our quality and safety checks. The affected products were produced over a limited period and this voluntary recall covers only products with specific production codes that you can find on the label." - Netslé (iOL)
