Have you ever wondered if it's possible to hop countries by swimming?
Thinking about taking the adventure of a lifetime?
Since the weather is getting warmer, we decided to take a look at some of the world's most popular islands and countries that you can actually swim between.

There have been many people around South Africa who participate in this annual swim:
- Robben Island from Blouberg Beach/Anchor Bay
Robben Island is the iconic and most popular swim to do in Cape Town because of the historical and political significance of the island, which is a World Heritage Site.
This swim takes under seven hours to complete, which is approximately 11km. However, there are multiple variations with different ranges.
Another interesting and well known swim is:
- India to Bangladesh
As we learnt the other day, one can swim from India to Bangladesh.
A 22-year-old Bangladeshi woman swam across the border to marry her Facebook boyfriend from India.
Since going viral, this has completely taken over news feeds around the world and many have attempted this swim since.
