Kim Kardashian-West set to sign divorce papers to end marriage with Kanye
Updated | By Stacey and J Sbu
The divorce rumours have been circulating for the better part of the last year and it seems that reality star and SKIMS owner Kim Kardashian has had enough.
According to numerous sources, mainly Page Six, Kim and Kanye will be getting a divorce.
It has also been reported that Kim has hired Laura Wasser, the powerful divorce attorney who has previously represented Angelina Jolie, Heidi Klum, and Kardashian herself during her 2011 divorce from Kris Humphries.
Just last month, Kim and Kanye had shared how they both were focused on their children and their individual goals - Kim on her passion to fight prison reform and Kanye on his music.
Though they have been one of the most famous couples in the world for their entire marriage, they have long endured their share of struggles, many of them linked to Kanye’s mental health battles.
The couple were last pictured together at Kim's extravagant 40th birthday celebration that caused much condemnation as the star flew out a group of her friends and family to a private island.
Social media users found Kim's posts tone deaf during a time when the world was going through a deadly pandemic and most people did not have the privilege to be around their nearest and dearest.

It was during this elaborate 40th birthday celebration that Kanye, in true West style, presented Kim with a hologram of her late father, Robert Kardashian.
Kanye West arranged for “a special surprise from heaven” for his wife. A birthday message from her late dad, Robert Kardashian, who passed away in September 2003. Robert Kardashian rose to fame as one of the attorneys known as the ‘Dream Team’ that represented OJ Simpson.
Kanye was reportedly not with his family during Christmas, but was isolated at his lavish Wyoming ranch.
The couple began dating in 2012 before marrying in an opulent ceremony in Italy in 2014.
