J Sbu gets called out at Nxumalo Easter Sunday Lunch after showing up empty handed
Updated | By J Sbu
What was meant to be a joyous Sunday Lunch with my mom, dad, siblings and son took a turn this weekend.
Family time at the Nxumalo's has been increasingly difficult for numerous reasons, mainly being because of the pandemic.
I have missed being able to see my mom and dad and siblings whenever I wanted but with the easing of regulations and the President allowing us to be with those nearest and dearest to us- our family decided to do a Sunday lunch to celebrate Easter this year.

I have been working hard at the studio of late, creating new music for my upcoming album which has been meant that I have not been home in the last three weeks, so I was secretly excited to get a home cooked meal made by my mom. My son Zanda, accompanied me to his grans house.
As soon as I entered the gate, I could smell my moms famous delicious pickled fish.
Unfortunately my excitement lasted all but 10 minutes before my younger sister called me out for showing up "empty handed" to our moms house.
Mind you, before I arrived I had called my mom to ask her if she needed me to get anything on my way. This context was obviously missed by my younger sister who claimed it did not matter whether my mom had said she needed anything or not, the "right thing to do is always show up with something" in her words.
It seems Stacey, is with my sister on this one as she believes at the very least I should have shown up with a 2 liter cooldrink, hahaha ay guys, that time my mom was completly fine.
So, let me know what you think:
