Imagine your dad went shopping in his undies just to prove a point!
Updated | By Stacey and JSbu
Well, this father has clearly had enough. He decided to go shopping at Tesco in just socks, shoes, and underpants to protest against clothing being classified as non-essential.
You can watch the footage here:
At the moment, Wales is in the midst of a 17-day 'firebreak lockdown', during which time supermarkets have been prohibited from selling products such as clothes, shoes, toys, and bedding.
From the video above, you can see that this new rule has not been received very well.
There was one hero who thought he would not only let people know how he felt but also show them by doing a semi-naked protest.
The video was recorded by Christopher Noden's wife, Dawn.
In the video, Dawn can be heard telling the security guard:
Clothes are deemed now non-essential. Your stores policy says clothes are non-essential. Let him in to buy some clothes. This is beyond a joke. There are children out there growing that need clothes.- Dawn
But the security guard was not having any of it, he replied and said:
He's not appropriately dressed. Go and take it up with the government. You can't come in dressed like that.- Security guard
What do you think, KZN... does making clothes a non-essential item make sense to you?
