“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer" - Anon.
Even though we would like to believe in the romance and beauty this quote holds, it's not 100% true.

In order to travel anywhere, whether it's to the beach a few minutes drive from your house or the white sandy shores of Mauritius, it's going to cost you.
But it is one of the few things in the world every human being should experience.

You don't have to stay in five-star hotels and fly private jets in order to reap the many benefits that travel has to offer.
But for almost two years now, the world has been locked down.
International travel? We don't know her.
Do you want to cross borders? Ridiculous.

We've not only been staying within the country, but we've also been staying within the confines of our own homes for the majority of these two years.
Even if you never had any intention of travelling anywhere, now more than ever, everyone wants to get out and head somewhere.

But let's make it a bit more interesting.
It's the middle of the month and money could be a little tight right now, or things could be looking good.

A few months ago, Stacey and J Sbu had a conversation about finances and they even spoke to finance whizz Nicolette Mashile, popularly known as South Africa's financial bunny, for her comment on the state of the economy and her advice on some money-saving tips that can help.
