Meet KZN listener Siyamthanda, a proud dad of an almost one-year-old, who is basking in the happiness of fatherhood. Siyamthanda has written into Stacey and J Sbu for some advice through their popular feature known as #TheFixer.

Siyamthanda is saddened by the lack of effort from his father and son's grandfather to have a relationship with his only grandchild.

Have a listen as he shares his story in the short podcast below:

Siyamthanda acknowledges that even though he and his dad did not necessarily have the father-son picture perfect relationship, he expected more from his dad after he became a father.

On a recent trip back home to KZN, Siyamthanda made it known to his father that he would be around with his son, who has been sickly since birth.

After spending the weekend in his family home that his father still lives in, he only saw him in person once and during that time, his dad barely spoke or acknowledged his son.

We reached out to our Facebook community to hear what advice they have for Siyamthanda. Thank you so much for being compassionate friends.

We especially appreciated these words by Kriekie Jonker, who shared the following with Siyamthanda:

Siyamthanda, we wish you and your family well.
