#HonestyHour: Why do cheaters cheat?
Updated | By Stacey and JSbu
One of the most asked questions after somebody cheats is: "Why?" Sadly, often this question is left unanswered...
On Monday afternoon, Stacey and JSbu asked KZN the following question: Can a relationship ever be the same after infidelity?
The responses were varied, with some saying that even if the marriage was saved, the relationship itself would never be the same again.

This conversation sparked another debate, this time with regards to the reasoning behind why men and women cheat. This was after JSbu implied that he feels women and men cheat for different reasons. According to JSbu, for men, the cheating is more because of the physical temptation, whereas for the women, it is more emotional.
Some KZN listeners chimed in to disagree with JSbu, sharing that the reason for cheating is subjective to each individual and that there are women who cheat not because they are emotional attached to someone, but because like 'most men' they may just be looking for a fling.
Oprah Magazine lists the most common reasons why people cheat:
1. They want to end things, but because they do not know how, they decide to sabotage the relationship
2. They feel neglected by their partner: emotionally or physically
3. Impulse
In Tuesday's edition of #HonestyHour, Stacey and JSbu opened up the WhatsApp lines and telephone lines to KZN to answer the following question: Why do people cheat?
