This is India's very first sologamy wedding!
Kshama Bindu has decided to marry herself after a journey of self-discovery.
Sologamy (a.k.a autogamy) is marriage by a person to themselves. Supporters of the practice argue that it affirms one's own value and leads to a happier life.

However, Kshama is facing trolls for her decision to marry herself on June 9 and revealed that she married herself in the presence of close friends at her house.
Despite receiving refusal from the temple priest, she decided to marry herself by playing divine wedding mantras on a bluetooth speaker.
She wore wedding garlands herself and took vows on June 8.
