Are you a fan or is this not for you?
From movies to TikTok videos, Gen Z's are embracing closed captions while other generations just don't get it.
Turns out millennials and Gen Z's can hear just fine and no, there is no weird language trick behind this. It is simply in the statistics.

According to the London-based research and data analytics firm YouGov, it found that the 18 to 29-year-olds surveyed watched TV in their native language with subtitles 63% of the time.
One user remarks, "63% of the youngsters watch movies with the subtitles? That is wild!"
It is just so much simpler to watch anything with the closed captions. It grabs my attention, keeps me focused when I can't hear plus I learn new words almost everyday.- Gen Z from Durban
So there you have it folks! This is the latest fad around town. While the youth of today continue reading their movies, the question is, are you going to try it too?
