Fixing KZN - one drive at a time
Updated | By Nobuntu Swartbooi
Stacey & JSbu introduce a brand new feature, it's time for The Fixer...
Got a problem that needs fixing? Ask Stacey and JSbu to help sort it out.
‘The Fixer’ is a new feature that will be driven by you, KZN.
Listeners can send Stacey and JSbu their personal dilemma stories where they need a resolution, closure or a solution.
Stacey and JSbu will discuss the dilemma on air, and then hand it over to KZN for a judgement-free fix.
KZN will be given the chance to help fix the problem with their thoughts and ideas. If needed, a professional (i.e. a legal consultant or therapist) will advise.
On Monday night, Stacey and JSbu received the following message:
Yo, I know this is weird, but I have something that has been weighing me down heavily… It concerns the love of my life. If you see this- please keep my name private. My partner and I have been together for about 4 years and we have been living together for the last 8 months. I travel a lot for work and with lockdown it has meant that we get to spend a lot of time together unfortunately this has also meant that we, like any other couple almost feel like we are on top of each other. Just over the weekend, we were having one of more frequent fights while she was in the bathroom. I can’t even remember what the fight was about but what I do remember is her phone kept going off- and so I did something that I now regret. I took her phone and opened her What’s App and this is when all things went downhill. It was a conversation with her work colleague whom I have never met. I went as far as screenshotting part of their conversation and sending it to myself. The nature of the texts were flirtatious but what really killed me was the last few messages… I am not a snooper and I do not want to have a fight with her over the fact that I went through her phone. BUT I need to know what is going on, and if the content of these WhatsApp messages means anything and if our relationship is worth saving.- Anonymous
