EXCLUSIVE: Stacey and J Sbu chat to hip hop's newest star, KZN's very own Blxckie

He has street cred, talent, and is the new wave in the South African hip hop scene, allow us to introduce you to KZN's very own: BLXCKIE.
BLXCKIE is a South African rapper and producer. Building street cred with his internet cult-like fanbase, BLXCKIE is a breakout artist who is leading the pack of new wave musicians as an undeniable rapper, singer, and song producer.
A 21-year old Durban-born multi-talented artist who has broken the internet with hit after hit, placing him at the forefront of SA Hip Hop and Trap Soul.
Capturing the essence of the new age – BLXCKIE, born Sihle Sithole, is popularly known for using his soothing melodic voice over a variety of different beats to create fresh new sounds. Unique in his artistry, the Joburg-based producer creates a majority the hit songs he is now known for.
Through his increased popularity, BLXCKIE has established a trajectory for legendary status in his career by featuring on big songs and gaining international appeal through the underground music scene.
He recently dropped his first album: B4Now.
This album is an introduction to who I am, how I arrived at this point and truly expresses what this moment means. It’s not just an album that bares all by looking back to bring us here, now - but it calls on every one of my fans to do the same- BLXCKIE
The lead single has become a national anthem for the youth and also features another proudly KZN superstar in Nasty C.
'Ye, ye, ye, ye' is a certified hit and one of J Sbu and his four-year old's favourite songs to come out in 2021.
