EXCLUSIVE: Nasty C chats to J Sbu about new music and his Ivyson Army Tour

The 'Coolest Kid in Africa' is back!
KZN’s very own multi-award-winning rapper went from making music in his bedroom to signing with American music label Def Jam - and he is currently on a nationwide tour.

The Ivyson Army Tour will be heading to Durban’s Warehouse this Saturday and will feature a star-studded line-up that includes international rapper and son to American superstar, T.I - Domani.
Musician Tellaman and rap artist Blxckie are also on the ride for the Durban leg of the tour.
The current tour will be the first since his last major Ivyson run in 2019, giving fans an unforgettable hip hop experience.

Nasty C’s fans have been waiting for new music from him since his critically acclaimed release, 'Zulu Man With Some Power'.
Solidified by Billboard as “South Africa’s best bet for a mainstream crossover,” Nasty C delivered hit after hit, with singles such as 'There They Go', 'They Don’t' featuring T.I., 'Eazy', and the latest release, 'Palm Trees', cementing his spot as Africa’s next big global sensation.
On the eve of its release, J Sbu managed to sit down with Nasty to share in his excitement.

The success did not end there.
Last year, Nasty C featured in Coca-Cola’s official song 'Colourful' for the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games.
Prior to that, he took to the stage alongside collaborator Ari Lennox on American talk show, 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'.
