Elon Musk's reign as richest person in the world ends after losing $13.5-billion in one day!

Jeff Bezos has officially reclaimed his number one spot from Elon Musk after 'a bad day at the office' for the South African-born entrepreneur.
It was just last week Thursday when Forbes Magazine made the announcement that Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos had been unseated as the richest person in the world.

Unfortunately, Elon Musk fell back to second place on the list after tumbling shares in his electric vehicle company Tesla on Monday chopped $13.5-billion off his fortune.
Gives new meaning to 'bad day at the office', no?

A week ago, it was recorded that Musk's fortune had grown by more than $150-billion from the previous year.
Never one to miss a beat when it comes to colourful commentary on a range of topics, Musk in cryptic tweets shared the following after it was initially announced that he had been named the 'richest person in the world':

Musk, 49, was born in South Africa and holds passports from the US and Canada after completing his studies in Ontario and the state of Pennsylvania.
He is yet to comment on the news that he has been unseated by Bezos.
