DEBATE: How often should you change your pyjamas?

Don't sleep on your hygiene!
Just the other day we spoke about how sheet is hitting the fan after we exposed how often people around SA are washing their sheets.
Today, we are pulling off the covers and taking the conversation to PJs.

We know you must be thinking, “How could this even be a question that we should be asking?”
After a shocking revelation that some people prefer to change their PJs every 2-3 days, we had to get ECR listeners to weigh in.
One woman sparked a debate on TikTok when she said: "I need to know if people wear pyjamas, like, multiple nights in a row?"
Allison sparked this conversation that caused the internet to spiral.

Allison shares in the TikTok above: "When I was younger, my parents always made us wear pyjamas multiple nights in a row because they weren't dirty. And I still do that as an adult."

The amount of times you should be changing your sleepwear a week will vary from person to person depending on their personal hygiene, skin issues, body odour etc.
According to domestic queen, Martha Stewart, she absolutely suggests “you wash your pyjamas, nightgowns, underwear, whatever you sleep in, every day."
On the contrary, the American Cleaning Institute is a little more lenient with its suggestions, recommending that pyjamas are washed after three or four wears.
