“Abuse is not right. I'm not a gold digger" - Enhle Mlotshwa opens up in mini doc
The actress and fashion designer posted a very revealing video on Instagram.
Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has been through a lot in the last year.

It started with rumours circulating that there was trouble in paradise for Mbali and her husband, music producer Nkosinathi “Black Coffee” Maphumulo.
However, it escalated to abuse allegations, court cases, and social media spats.
In March 2021, the 'Rockville' star accused Black Coffee of assaulting her at their Sandton home while celebrating her 33rd birthday. Since then, she's filed for a protection order preventing Black Coffee from entering his former marital home.
But it seems like Mbali could be in a much healthier headspace.

She recently shared a mini-documentary on her Instagram where she opened up about the struggles she's faced, the love she's received, and the battles she's had to fight.
In the video, she tells her life story as a woman, mother, daughter, wife, and star.

Not only does she give a very intimate and personal account of her own life, the lessons she's learned and her incredible career, but she also pays tribute to the women who have played a vital role in her life.
She acknowledges her mother's contributions and the many other females who have helped her grow into the woman she is today.

Mbali does not shy away from talking about the controversial topics and when addressing the situation surrounding Black Coffee, she says:
Abuse is not right. I'm not a gold digger. I found a man who had an opportunity in his mind and we made a decision to build together and now he is built. I agreed to take parts of my life that I consider so important to me and put them aside to make forever work and it didn't. I am a woman to helped build her man. I am a woman who created a shell to protect her family.

Mbali also went on to explain why she had felt the need to create this mini-doc and that it is part of the healing process. She mentions that women are constantly under attack and she feels it's imperative for her to have a conversation with her audience after everyone had witnessed her be a part of a very public falling out.
I was on the stairs of the Randburg court fighting GBV but unfortunately, it gave me an angry back woman status and all I was doing was fighting for myself, fighting for what was right, protecting myself and my children. I'm not an angry black woman, I am however a woman who had to stand for herself. Let's not forget that this problem came to me, I was home relaxing, celebrating myself, this problem came to me and when I fight this problem, the problem becomes the victim. I have taken the pain and turned it into happiness and joy, I have taken ridicule and turned it into strength and poise.
Hopefully, Enhle will continue to receive the love and support she needs.
