With family, my sister and niece are here from Cape Town.
What are you most grateful for in life?
Can I choose 2? My health and family.
What makes you get up in the morning and face the world?
Focusing on all the things I am grateful for.

What do you miss the most about growing up in the 80s?
NEON, big hair, and the sweet sound of the synth.
What is your fondest memory of the 80s?
I had a very happy childhood, many memories of family gatherings, time at my gran and grandpa’s house, and thrift shopping with my mom.
You share a birthday month with one of the greatest icons in the world, Nelson Mandela, what inspires you the most about the late president?
His heart and the capacity he had to love, forgive, and unite.
What are you currently listening to in your car?
Silence (its golden) with three kids (laughs).
What is your birthday wish?
This is hard... will let you know when I blow out my birthday candle.
If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
The humidity in KZN.
