What happens when an ex of your current bae invites you to an event?
If you were in a new relationship and your partner invited you to a event hosted by an ex, what would your response be?
I have an upcoming traditional ceremony taking place at my home. Preparations are on-going and my to-do list just seems to be growing day by day. The first thing I had to get out the way was the guest list.
I have invited my family, colleagues, and, of course, my dearest friends. Among these friends is an ex of mine whom I have maintained a purely platonic relationship with. My ex accepted my invite.
So a week goes by and my ex is blowing up my phone asking me if I am certain if it is okay that he invites his girlfriend of two months. I, of course, have no problem with him coming with his girlfriend. I am really confused as to why he keeps pestering me about this?!
So I wanted to know what KZN thinks: If you were dating someone for less than three months and your partner invited you to an event that was hosted by their ex, would you go?
