#UnpopularOpinion: It’s okay for married couples to not sleep in the same bed
Updated | By Damon Beard
A listener sent us a message to tell us why she thinks couples should not sleep in the same room.
Dear Damon,
I’ve heard your new segment called Unpopular Opinion and I love it so I thought I would mail you and share mine.
I really believe couples shouldn’t sleep on the same bed. It’s really overrated.
Wait hear me out. There is nothing worse than a person asking you to cuddle especially in the middle of summer when all you want is to sleep and be free.
Then there is the snoring and the way people sleep, you’ll be on the edge of the bed cause your partner is kicking like they’re in a football match.
Even if you live with someone, it’s still important to have your personal space.
When you sleep in separate beds it also makes intimacy way better because you miss being close to each other.
But hey that’s just my opinion.
