Terry Pheto stars as Winnie Mandela in US series

South African actress Terry Pheto has been cast as Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in a US mini-series alongside top Hollywood actors.

Laurence Fishburn will star as Nelson Mandela in the six-part series, Madiba.
The series will look at the life of the struggle hero, and several other apartheid activists.
Evolution actor Orlando Jones will star as anti-apartheid politician and former ANC president, Oliver Tambo.
Local actor, Hlomla Dandala, will take on the role of Govan Mbeki - the late father of former South African president Thabo Mbeki.
The series is set to air in 2017.
