Sway Calloway gives Reason thumbs up
Renowned hip hop media reporter Sway Calloway has given Reason's song Yippi ki yay two thumbs up.
If you haven’t realised it yet, South African hip hop is really making big waves across Africa and the world.
Just the other day, Snoop Dogg was playing AKA’s Dream Work single featuring Yanga, while last week Cassper Nyovest was all the way in the States collaborating with The Roots frontman Black Thought.
And now, America’s most renowned media reporter Sway has given Reason the stamp of approval after he heard his single Yippee ki yay featuring AKA and Khuli Chana, which was released last year.
Sway played the song on his radio show Sway in the Morning and gave the song nothing but love and a stamp of approval.
Sway’s co-host also expressed great excitement about the song, mentioning that the song was a breath of fresh air from all the trap music they have been hearing.
The stamp of approval by Sway will definitely go down in the books as one of Reason's greatest career highlights.
