Snitching in the workplace: Would you do it?
Updated | By Thandolwethu
If you ever witnessed something that you knew was wrong at work, would you take the issue to your boss?
I received an anonymous call from a guy who works in the IT industry. Unfortunately, I cannot reveal his name because he asked to remain anonymous. Part of his job entails him viewing CCTV footage for his company.
Whilst viewing some of the footage, he saw that one of his colleagues was actually living in the office. Faced with a dilemma, he is now conflicted as to what he should do with this information. However, he does not know what the personal circumstances are of his colleague.
Should he snitch on his colleague or just pretend as if he did not see anything?
Take a listen to my reaction on-air and find out what the rest of KZN had to say about his dilemma.
