The midnight starring joined Thandolwethu in studio to talk about being an independent artist, new music and being a mommy.
Listen to Thandolwethu's interview with Busiswa, or read the details under the podcast:
Mthatha-born musician Busiswa is one of the hottest artists in the country right now. The singer who is known for her Gqom anthems joined Thandolwethu in the wake of the release of her new single Banomoya with Prince Kaybee.
Busiswa opened about leaving Kalawa Jazmee and becoming and independent artist citing that she found that being a label artist was not working for her and she was ready to try something new.
Although she says there is no bad blood between her and the label, Busiswa has also advised other upcoming artists to think carefully before they sign to a record label.
If you can avoid signing a record deal, avoid signing a record deal.
