Listen to Bongani Urban opening up a can of worms when a
listener says her husband used to be rich but now that he’s not she wants to
leave.
I married my wife for love and she married me for love too. We certainly didn’t have money going into our marriage. But now that I am doing okay, she has gotten used to a certain lifestyle. If I had to lose it all and go into debt, I wouldn’t blame her for wanting to leave me.
Of course, I hope that never happens, and if it did I would want her by my side fighting to get back on our feet. But me losing our money is not her fault, she has needs and she has a lifestyle to uphold.
