Kwesta, Reason to open for J.Cole

The two rappers have been confirmed as the official opening acts for J.Cole.
It is considered to be one of the most solid hip hop opening acts South Africa has seen in a while.
Reason and Kwesta have been announced as the official opening acts for the J.Cole concert.
When J Cole was announced as the headliner for this year’s Castle Lite Extra Cold concert, many avid listeners of hip hop were ecstatic at the rapper returning to the country for a second time.
Amidst that excitement, a die-hard hip hop head sent a heartfelt request to the organisers of the concert to bring on South African hip hop acts who truly represent the art form.
The fan requested that the organisers not announce bubblegum rappers as the opening acts, but to rather carefully consider rappers who truly care about the culture and those who have meaningful lyrical content in their rhymes.

Thankfully the fan's plea did not fall on deaf ears as Castle Lite confirmed that lyricists Reason and Kwesta would be the official opening acts for J.Cole on 18 June.
Fans have also requested that they pick the songs the rappers perform at the concert.
It's great to see that the organisers of the concert listened to the people, and this sure is to be one hell of a show. The two rappers will also be joined by hip hop DJ's Vigilante and Speedsta.
It's about to be one Cole winter (pun very much intended)!
