Jailoshini Naidoo talks new TV drama 'Imbewu: The Seed'

Following the success of the film 'Keeping up with Kandasamys', it seems everyone's favourite aunty (Aunty Rumba) has more reasons to smile!
Jailoshini Naidoo, who joined East Coast Urban with Thandolwethu on Wednesday evening to play the musical game: Lyrical PHD, shared the exciting news of her new drama series that will premiere on the April 16.

The drama series, 'Imbewu: The Seed', will feature an all-star group both in front and behind the scenes. Starring the iconic Leleti Khumalo, who is also an Executive Producer, 'Imbewu: The Seed' is set in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
Anant Singh will be at the helm of the production. Singh is internationally recognised and celebrated for his works that include the films 'Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom', the Oscar-nominated 'Yesterday', and 'Sarafina!'.
Singh has been quoted as saying:
Imbewu: The Seed will be in a class of its own, “Imbewu: The Seed reflects the multi-cultural environment which makes Durban and the province of KwaZulu Natal unique. The show has the ability to cross the cultural divide and promote social cohesion in South Africa, showcasing a hybrid of cultures in South Africa today.- Anant Singh
