Destruction Boyz and Cassper Nyovest get BET nomination nod
KZN duo Destruction Boyz and Mufasa himself, Cassper Nyovest, have been nominated for this year's BET Awards.
The Black Entertainment Awards (BET) are a celebration of black entertainers in America.
Destruction Boyz and Cassper Nyovest have been nominated in the Best International Act category this year. The two are the only two South African artists who have made the cut.
Cassper, who missed out in 2016 to fellow South African star Black Coffee - who scooped the country’s first BET Award in history, returns to the list of nominees.
Destruction Boyz had a massive 2017 with the success of their hit single: Omunye Phezu Komunye and debut album: Gqom is the future.

Fans will be able to cast their votes for their favourite Best International Act at BET.com where the complete list of nominees can also be found. The awards themselves take place in Los Angeles on the 24th of June.
