Cassper Nyovest owns 30% of FNB?
Updated | By Zalebs
When news broke that Cassper Nyovest had purchased 30% of FNB's shares, the funny memes just came rolling out.
Over the past weekend, a satire article made its rounds on social media about Cassper Nyovest allegedly owning 30% of FNB.
When the news came out, Twitterville went bonkers!
We can only imagine the chest pains his haters were experiencing when they found out that Cassper could possibly be one of our first billionaire rappers.
To their relief, the story was false, as it was a satire piece.
The memes that were shared on social media made the joke all worth it though. Here are some of our favourite memes relating to the story.

And for all of those who truly believed that Cassper owns 30% of FNB, we guess this meme is for you...

But how historical would it have been if Cassper Nyovest really owned 30% of FNB?
That achievement would've gone down in the history books. Who knows, maybe we could've even got a national Cassper Nyovest Day?
Eish, but this meme really hurt.

However, such a rumour is always a great reminder of how much Cassper and many of his rapping peers have achieved in such a small amount of time.
From selling platinum records to buying houses, collaborating with international stars and buying millions of rands worth of cars, it's safe to say that the South African hip hop fraternity has been doing A-ok.
