Bongani Urban: Sometimes I don’t want to live with my wife and kids
Updated | By Bongani Urban
He’s always raw and honest. Okay, maybe a bit too honest? Bongani Urban opens up and chats about how he sometimes wishes he could live away from his wife and kids.
I love my wife and my kids, and they mean everything to me. I would never want to do anything to hurt them. However, there are days that I wish I had my own house that didn’t have them living in it.
When it comes to the kids, you never have any downtime or space. The only time that I can be on my own is when I’m in the bathroom, and even then they still come and pester me.
Can you remember the time when you and your partner first started dating? Waiting for the time that you will be able to see each other again and the pang you felt in your chest when you didn’t see them? The term 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' is no joke.
I am not saying that I am going to leave my wife and get my own place, I am just entertaining the thought, and that’s okay, I think?
