Independence Day is one of the biggest celebratory days in America.
On 4 July 1776, Congress signed the Declaration of Independence of the United States. This act awarded freedom to the country from British rule.

Americans celebrate this day in various ways, with one of the big attractions being the various fireworks displays in neighbourhoods.
But sometimes things don't always go according to plan, as is the case in this video posted on Twitter on Independence Day 2022.

We hope that there were no serious injuries. In the video, it seems that everyone was able to get to safety in time.
Fireworks displays are a global trend and are often used to commemorate special occasions like Diwali and New Year's Day.
In some countries, fireworks displays are tourist attractions.
