A woman sent a message to Thandolwethu and confessed that she has HIV and she’s infected her boyfriend and doesn’t know how to tell him. Thandolwethu brought the 22-year old woman from Queensburgh into the studio to have a conversation about this.

Being HIV-positive or being heavily in debt isn't one of those things you can take lightly. The question is: When are you supposed to tell your partner? Before which relationship milestone?

Bongani insists: "It's not something you can easily come out and say on the first date. I mean, it's a heavy burden of a secret on yourself as is, how do you tell someone who will probably leave you for being open and honest with them about it?"
