To succeed in life one needs to plan and prepare ahead of time

Mags the businesswoman is always prepared and organised. Being a mom is a full-time job and to prevent not showing up to my full-time job I need to be organised, because Daniel is my number one and he comes ahead of my radio career and my business. It is very important to find a balance because as women we are great at multitasking, but if there isn’t a plan in place things may fall apart.

With that said, here are a couple of things to prepare for the new year and business:

To prevent a stressful start in 2018, make sure all your business goals and admin are set before you wrap up 2017.

Sit down and discuss with your team what 2018 looks like and get them invested too, because you know what they say, ‘team work makes the dream work’.

Nothing beats a shared vision and an understanding of the end goal by all. Once everyone is on board rolling into 2018 with one vision in mind and everyone on the same playing field, it will make for a great financial year end.

2018 will see me begin my five-year plan. I will reveal in time what it is, but for now I will walk a road that will take me through an exciting five-year process. Inevitably it will be personal and business growth. I will embark on a 14-day expedition for elephants and lions towards the end of the year so watch out for that too.
