Robbie Williams’ new music video labelled 'racist'
Updated | By Poelano Malema
Robbie Williams’ new music video for ‘Party Like a Russian’ has been criticised by the Russian government for being racist, Independent reported.
Williams was even accused of mocking President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. However, the singer has dismissed the accusations, saying he did not mean to offend anyone.
“There's 147 million people in Russia and I don't want to upset them in any way and I don’t know what kind of sense of humour they’ve got. I’m not making fun of anybody but I had to take a few things out just to make it more PC [politically correct] - and this is the PC version you're getting,” he was quoted as saying in the publication.
