Khanyi Mbau tells Phat Joe and Mags: Skin lightening works for me
Updated | By East Coast Drive
After being roasted on social media about her new skin tone, Phat Joe and Mags chat to South African actress, radio and TV personality Khanyi Mbau to hear what she has to say about the recent skin lightening claims.
Radio presenter and model Khanyi Mbau has become the talk of the town after she recently uploaded a picture of herself on her social media. However, after the picture was uploaded, she experienced backlash as critics said that she said that her skin tone looked very 'pink' and 'raw'.
Khanyi at first decided to lash out against them, then decided to fight them with a bit of humor. She went on to upload a picture doing its rounds of a tray of Shoprite chicken thighs with a photoshopped picture of herself on it asking South Africa 'to love her as she is'. Could this be a start of a #PinkLivesMatter campaign?
