Who said an endagered species can't also be a man's best friend right?
Duduzane Zuma caused quite a stir on social media by chilling out with a young lion in the comforts of his house. Duduzane is the son of former South African president Jacob Zuma.
The viral video had everyone fearing for his safety as he was having a conversation while a white lion cub appeared behind him. While it's not clear as to where the video was shot, it can be seen as he was totally comfortable with it.

According to BBC News, in 2017 there has been a law that you are not allowed to be keeping an endangered animal as a pet in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) country.

In South Africa on the other hand, it's also prohibited to actually keep a lion captative in your own personal space. According to Barbara Creecy the Minster of South Africa’s Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, has been vocal about how many people have been keeping Lions captative in South Africa.
"View that the captive lion breeding industry did not contribute to conservation and was doing damage to South Africa’s conservation and tourism reputation,” said Barbara.

After that statement made by the minister, the government has been trying to resolve the situation to stop issuing permits to breed, hunt, keep or even interact with captive lions.
