Thailand has FULLY reopened its shores to SA tourists

Good news for South Africans as Thailand fully opens up again.
People who have Thailand on their travel bucket list will love to hear about the latest news regarding Thailand.
According to Business Insider, Thailand has dropped its last remaining pandemic-induced travel restrictions.

This means that international tourists, including South Africans, will now be able to enter the country and stay for longer.
Over 12 000 people from South African travelled to Thailand in the first eight months of 2022.
This is according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), which has decided to ease restrictions as it feels that the pandemic is now being well managed, which means people can travel more.
Ofcourse the arrivals of these tourists would bein compliance of the covid-19 regulations.
Tourists would still be urged to produce their negative results of the covid test or providing proof of vaccination within the last 72 hours.
However, due to the latest news, the last of these restrictions have been dropped.
Thailand has fully reopened to tourists from 1 October 2022.

Travelers would no longer need to provide proof of a vaccination card or document and they don't need to test for COVID-19 as well.
TAT Governor, Yuthasak Supasorn, has welcomed this news and has now urged more people to travel to the island and take full advantage of the changes.
"We invite tourists to come and experience the existing and new tourism offerings in Thailand, which, together with the kingdom's increasing move towards sustainable and responsible tourism," says Supasorn.
