According to IOL, the Springbok flyhalf admitted to his wife he had been involved with Simjee for several months.
The confession was allegedly made the moment he and his wife landed in Japan, where he had been playing for his club, Red Hurricanes Osaka.
Jantjies’ wife, Iva Ristic, and kids recently headed off to Cyprus to get away from the media attention.

According to Elton, moving his kids out of their previous school was necessary due to the media attention, adding that it really hasn’t been an easy time for him and his family.
Ristic had suspected her husband was having an affair, as she had no idea where the money was going.
Remember when this story came to light in September?
The story started when Afrikaans news publication Rapport reported Jantjies was seen entertaining the Springboks’ dietician, Zeenat Simjee, at two different guesthouses.
This was during the week leading up to the Springboks’ first Rugby Championship Test against the All Blacks in Mbombela.
Darren, Keri, and Sky discussed the matter at the time:
Last month, IOL reported that Jantjies had checked himself into a Cape Town rehab facility for drug addiction.
Jantjies admitted to News24 that he is not addicted to drugs, but rather went to rehab for injury issues.
