According to Goal.com, Ronaldo was among the best-paid athletes in the world in 2022, and that was before his move to Saudi Arabia. He banked somewhere in the region of $115-million from 2021 into 2022.
However, reports suggest that Ronaldo's contract with Al-Nassr is among the most lucrative in the history of football.
He is rumoured to earn an astounding $50-million per year, making him one of the highest-paid athletes globally, alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and other top-earning superstars.
Sky believes that there is still loads more left for the great Ronaldo.
"You can say he went to a farmer's league or he went to earn stacks of cash, but CR7 will forever remain the best wherever he goes," says Sky.
