Rick Ross made an error and the internet is all over him.
In the vast world of musical collaborations and shout outs, a recent tweet from American rapper Rick Ross has caused quite a stir on Twitter.
The hip-hop heavyweight took to the popular social media platform to give a shout out to South African artist Cassper Nyovest, but the message led to a divided reaction among fans.

According to Briefly, a video that has gone viral of Rick Ross mixes up Cassper Nyovest and Kabza De Small's names.
Some believe the special mention that the MMG owner made was actually intended for African music sensation, Kabza De Small.

It all started when Rick Ross, known for his charismatic persona and undeniable lyrical prowess, took to Twitter to show appreciation for Cassper Nyovest, one of South Africa's most prominent and successful rappers.
"Salute to @casspernyovest for keeping the culture alive. Real talent shining through," says Rick Ross, who was expressing his admiration for Nyovest's contribution to the music industry.

This comes on the back of the news Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C are embarking on a joint tour.
The tour, which is called 'African Throne', is set to kick off 'very soon'. The pair will visit countries such as Tanzania, Namibia, Kenya, Nigeria, Malawi, and Uganda.
Cassper is also gearing up for the release of his next album which will be coming soon.
