Olympian's massive McDonald's order to celebrate
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
What happens when you're out of the Olympic games? You order an intimidating amount of burgers and nuggets to celebrate!
You'd think that all athletes grunt at the sight of burgers and shame you for eating deep fried chips, but not this guy.
It's standard procedure for athletes to eat clean at all times and maintain a healthy diet, but once in a while they're allowed a cheat meal they'll burn off in minutes during practice (unlike the rest of us).
But what happens when you've tried your best and lost at the Olympics?
Australian badminton player Sawan Serasinghe ended his 2016 Olympic games with a huge feast from McDonald's: four packs of chicken nuggets, six burgers, six packs of fries, and six cakes.
He lost to Chinese Taipei on the weekend and decided to celebrate with a comfort meal. He posted the image on Facebook and captioned the photo: "Can't wait to go back home to start training and keep on improving! Just want to say thanks again to everyone back home for the on going [sic] support. Definitely motivated me to fight hard on court every day".
"Now it's time to eat some junk food after months of eating clean!"
