Man fights venomous snake while driving

A man in Australia did all he could to fight a deadly snake in his car.
A 27-year-old man has been hailed a hero after fighting tooth and nail with a venomous, deadly snake.
The Australian man, who was identified as Jimmy, was driving in his car when a brown snake wrapped itself around his legs.

The police said that Jimmy had been speeding at 123 kilometres per hour, making his way to the nearest hospital, when he was pulled over. The driver had explained to the policeman that the snake had struck a few times, and thinking he had been bitten, he killed it using a knife and a seatbelt.
"A brown snake or a tiger snake is in the back of the ute [truck], I think it has bitten me, it was in the car with me.
"The more I moved my legs … it just started to wrap around me. Its head just started striking at the chair, between my legs,” Jimmy can be heard saying in the video.

It was later revealed by the paramedics that the man was not injured or bitten, but was suffering from trauma and shock.
