One man has decided to take it upon himself to actively do something about it and raise awareness. That man is Dale van Blerk. He is walking from Johannesburg to Durban in order to raise funds for flood damaged schools.
What he is doing is remarkable, in every sense of the word.
Here's Dale speaking to Darren, Keri, and Sky about the reason why he took the walk, as well as what it means to do something that is bigger than himself:
According to Dale, Dawede in Molweni and St Nivard’s Primary School in Umzinto are two schools that have been identified by his team for assistance.
The man from Johannesburg originally left his home on 4 January with only basic apparel and items.

There has been a trail of kindness and care from locals along the way and an outpouring of hospitality from hotel groups, homeowners offering a bed, food packs, as well as medical supplies.
