Leeds United should never have gifted Aston Villa a goal

Leeds United let Aston Villa walk a goal in this past weekend and our football experts have slammed that behaviour!
We discuss the controversial SuperSport United vs Bidvest Wits game, as well as the incident where Leeds United let Aston Villa walk a goal in. Listen to the podcast and read more in the blog below.
Aston Villa had a player down and expected Leeds United to kick the ball out as gentlemanly conduct, but Leeds carried on playing and scored a goal.
According to the rules, Leeds aren't obliged to kick the ball out of play, they can do it out of sportsmanship and the goal should have stood.
The referee is also not required to stop play unless it's a head injury or a life-threatening situation. Over and above that, every professional footballer knows that they have to play to the whistle, which is what the Aston Villa players didn't do.
Let's see how the Leeds goal came about below:

After all the chaos, Leeds agreed to let the Villains walk a goal in to balance everything out, which I think they wouldn't have done if they desperately needed the three points.
