Somizi is very clear about his message to trolls:  "don't dish it if you can't take it."

Idols SA judge, cook, choreographer, businessman and musician, Somizi Mhlongo Motaung is willing to defend himself and those he loves from cyberbullies.

The 'Dinner At Somizi's' star took the gloves off on Friday and later found himself trending for a response to a bully that many Twitter users labeled as "classist." But he was not willing to back down.

Upon the release of his new song with his best friend, Vusi Nova titled 'Intandane' - which both musicians dedicate to their late mothers - Somizi posted a picture of himself and Vusi in celebration.

The picture shows the duo in robes and with champaign glasses in hand and Somizi's husband, Mohale, as their waiter - the two were obviously living their best lives.

But one of the comments under the tweet left a bitter taste in Somizi's mouth when a Twitter user asked Somizi the question, "UVusi udlalela yiphi team?" - directly translated, "Which team does Vusi play for?" - inquiring about his sexuality.

Somizi was not about to ignore that question and proceeded to head straight for the Tweep's bank balance.

"I was gonna answer that if the answer was gonna improve yo tekateking bank balance," he replied. 'Tekateking' means 'unbalanced/unstable.'

While Twitter users saw his reply as having classist undertones, Somizi defended himself by addressing the behaviour of social media trolls toward celebrities.

Somizi made it clear that he will not allow for trolls to bully him just because he needs to protect his brand. He further stated that bullies must not come for him if he did not send for them because he will retaliate whichever way he so pleases.
