This is how you can level up your matric maths using a smartphone app!

For once, your phone won't be a distraction...
Are you in matric and struggling with mathematics?
Stress not, there is an app you can download to ensure that you at least pass the subject at the end of this year.

MyBroadband tested out a free version of the Symbolab app and were able to score a pass mark of 38.67% on the first matric mathematics paper.
You can download the app both on Android and iOS to solve some complex mathematical problems.
It is more inclined to help you with algebra and a little less helpful with word sums.

They tried out the app, testing out if passing a matric mathematics paper using only a smartphone app was possible.
As the final November 2021 paper has not been publicly released, they attempted paper one from the May/June 2021 exams, which is on the same standard.
The app achieved a score of 58 out of 150, which equates to a pass mark of 39%.
That's a big deal, right?

Only 58% of learners who wrote the mathematics exam in 2021 passed, which means the app performed better than many South African learners.
Try it out throughout the year, commit, and the results will speak for you.
